Current contracts position window status order.

 

 

All orders are placed in the active order window until they are executed (filled) at which time they are moved to the filled order window. Any order in the active order window can be cancelled by right clicking on the order and selecting cancel, followed by OK. Current status On the bottom right of the screen you will see the current status and history window. Again click on the current status and history tabs to toggle between the two windows. On the right hand side of the current status window you will see values for the current bars OHLC. The OHLC to the left show the details of any bar that you have highlighted by selecting with your mouse pointer. The difference refers to the difference of the close of the highlighted bar and the current bar. Description of values in current status window: Current position: number of contracts long or short. i.e. if you are net long 6 contracts the value will be 6; if you are net short 3 contracts the value will be 3. Open P/L: this is the monetary value of your current position. Open average: this is the average price of your current position; i.e. if you are long 2 and you bought one at 5862 and one at 5912, you average purchase price is (5862 + 5912)/2 = 5887 Closed P/L: this is the profit or loss that you have banked and includes the commission costs. No of contracts: this is the total number of contracts that you have bought and sold and does not include your open position. Average profit: this is the closed P/L / no of contracts, it is the average profit for your closed position. Example: lets us say that I have bought a total of 20 contracts and sold a total of 15. I now have an open position of 5 contracts (I am long 5) and a closed out position of 15 contracts. 85 History
